Unfortunately, the schnitzel is not recommended at all. Ready-made schnitzel from the freezer with a breading that is more reminiscent of an external shoe sole than a delicious coating made from egg and flour. The remaining meat content is therefore almost imperceptible below 5 mm. For that, 15 euros is really excessive. Waitresses absolutely very friendly and also accepted the criticism. The fries that were included were frozen to death so that there was no more life in them. So do better for the future or at least point it out. It is possible that there are guests who like something like that. We'll be back anyway and try something different.

An inn quite a distance from the village and near the hollow. With a nice beer garden. The waitresses serve in a traditional costume similar to a dirndl. The food ranges from game to vegetarian and tastes great. The prices are not cheap but okay. There is a fairly large parking lot for cars as well as bike racks for bike users like us. However, the inn is only open from 11:30 a.m. and if the snack outside opens earlier, at least on nice days, you have to ask beforehand. Not far away is the passenger ferry to the west of the Mulde, to which you can also take a bike for 1 or 2 euros.

Great location. Service was great and extremely attentive. You can also eat tasty and swim. Circular route from Eilenburg by bike on the water is definitely great.

Cauliflower old and mushy. Soup was lukewarm when served. Conclusion: never again for such a high price.

Very well-kept beer garden. Rightly touted as "the most beautiful beer garden" in the area. Prices are okay and the food is very tasty. Applicable hygiene and distance rules are observed. Thanks for the great time.

We celebrated our wedding in the ferry house and were completely satisfied. The food was tasty and the service was perfect. All our wishes were taken into account and there was plenty of room for your own ideas in terms of design and decoration. All agreements were met. We stayed in one of the vacation rooms right away. That was also really great. Breakfast the next morning also left nothing to be desired. Thanks at this point! We can fully recommend the ferry house and the associated vacation rooms.

We were eating here during the Corona time, there were only 2 tables reserved with us that Friday night. The waitress did her best to serve the 6 people authentically and service oriented. There would be 5 stars for the service ... if you could rate it separately. The food was fabulous as so often ... Karte the menu is very clear but the offer was completely ok. From the starter to the dessert, nothing was missing. The time between ordering and serving was absolutely ok. There would also be 5 stars here. The food itself was delicious, we had a cauliflower soup as a starter and cauliflower with salmon and potatoes as a main course and a simple dish with mushroom cream and schnitzel. Everything was really delicious. 👍👍👍👍👍 5 stars. Price performance was also OK. Now, unfortunately, that: we have known the restaurant for years, we eat here once or twice a year or take a break here ... LEIDER, the condition of the outdoor facilities leaves more and more to be desired. SORRY ... ☹😔 A while ago there were a few goats standing on the dam or in the enclosure, these are gone, the enclosure is neglected. The children's playground of the restaurant is also weathered, old, loveless ... it is all a shame. Especially in the last few months where there was nothing going on, everything could have been brought up to scratch here. The snack bar, the patio, everything is so dreary, loveless, the attention to detail is missing. But there is a lot of potential here ... make something of it again. 🤗 then there are also 5 stars.

Ambience looks a bit careless, the selection and arrangement of the dishes could use a little more pep and less fried. Where you have to say that it tasted quite good. In terms of price, it was okay, but there is more for the money that is taken.

We were here today, we are from Berlin and visited my sister in Eilenburg for her birthday. I had already looked on the Internet for a cozy place to have lunch and linger in Berlin. That was when I noticed the ferry house. we were super satisfied. Really a great atmosphere, great food, price-performance ratio, a great beer garden to linger and super friendly staff. Nice restaurant with a nice beer garden directly at the Muldewiese. Food is good, but there is nothing cheap. Schnitzel is 15 €, the portions are just so full. If you are very hungry you need soup or dessert. Service is very nice, the environment looks well-kept and clean. Bike racks, children's playground and parking are available. The highlight is the passenger ferry across the Mulde.

Good food, fantastic rooms, friendly hosts. Clean and very quiet. Highly recommended.

Very idyllic location. It can be good and cheap food. For the kids there are playground equipment and a sandbox in the meadow, goats to watch and they can whiz.
